80’ies loadout…

Bring the 80s back

The 80s: The first video console, the first home computer and arcades mark the start of the golden era of video games. Plug your headphones into your Walkman and travel back with us to the time of bright, flashy colours and funky patterns.

No decade deserves a homage more!

Let's start with Knife-Gloves-Combo:

To be honest, there are many nice and flashy knives in CS2 and everyone has his own favourite type. We decided for the Bayonet | Doppler Phase 2 ( approx. 700€ on Steam).

When it comes to Gloves,”Vice” fits pretty well with its bright pink/blue colours. The problems with these ones are, that they are hard to get in a good condition and they lose a lot of brightness when you get them in a bad condition. This is the reason why we will go for a way cheaper and unconventional alternative.

The “Hand Wraps CAUTION! is perfect for our 80s theme and fits really well with colourful skins. The Steam Price starts around 180€ (battle-scarred) and goes up to 460€ (minimal wear). Even in battle-scarred they are pretty bright but it's probably a good idea to spend a little bit more money, for a better condition.

P2000

The P2000 “Wicked Sick” looks pretty much like it's made out of an aerobic training suit. It is one of the cheaper Skins (around 15 € on Steam, Factory New), so there is no reason to buy it in a worse condition.

Desert Eagle

A lot of Colours, strange shapes. The look of the “Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive” is a tribute to the 80s itself (Battle-scarred 15€ on Steam, Factory New 150€ on Steam). This one you should go for Factory New or low-float Minimal Wear. If it gets worse, the scratches can be really annoying. If you are free to spend a little bit more money go for a StatTrak one, the electronic counter has a certain charm, especially with this skin.

Mac-10

For the Mac-10 it is the “Disco-Tech”. You should definitely get that Skin a good condition (Factory New ca. 15€ Steam, Battle-Scarred 2€). This Skin is also available in StatTrak, which fits well. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the colours are more greenish when you hold it, and pink/purple when you press F.

The “Disco-Tech” is a pretty good skin, if you like to spice it up with some stickers.

The second Skin for an 80s style Mac-10 is “Stalker” with a price range between 7€ for a Factory New one and 9€ for a battle-scarred one (StatTrak, Factory New around 500€). The Skin gets darker, when you buy it in a worse condition.

MP7

For the CT side the MP7 | Fade is the one that fits our topic best. This skin has several patterns that influence the price. It is also available as Souvenir. If you want that skin, make sure you take your time to find the perfect one for you.

AK-47

When it comes to the AK-47, there are two different options.

The first one is the AK-47 | Head Shot with its colourful, holo graffiti and a price range between 95€ Factory New on Steam and 12€ Battle-scarred on Steam. You can also go for a StatTrak one. The worse the condition, the darker the lettering becomes and the holographic effect is reduced.

The “Nightwish” is the second option. This one is with 85€ Factory New, 8€ Battle-scarred on Steam and around 280€ for a StatTrak Factory New a little bit cheaper, but in no way behind

the “Head Shot” when it comes to its look. The beautiful, neon-coloured print becomes scratched and difficult to see with increasing wear. With a bit of luck, you might be able to find at least one field test that looks good.

M4A4

The most colourful M4A4 is the “In Living Color” as the name suggests. Not only the colour but also the comic theme fits in our topic, which gets really popular in the 80s.

When it comes to the question in which condition you should buy it, it's pretty much the same as the AK-47 Wildfire. The price for this beauty is only around 40€ Factory New on Steam to 5€ Battle-scarred, StatTrak is also possible.

M4A1-S

The Skin we want to present you here might be a little bit surprising. It is the “Leaded Glass” we want to recommend. This Skin was definitely not one of the favourites in CS:GO but in CS2 we really need to give it a second chance. With 11€ on Steam for a Factory New one it is also a really cheap skin (4€ Battle-scarred, 40€ StatTrak). The look does not change a lot from Factory new to battle-scarred.

SSG 08

The “Turbo Peek” skin takes us back to the days when arcades were popular. You can buy the skin for about 18 € Factory New in Steam market, Battle-scarred about 5€. I would prefer

factory new or minimal wear, as otherwise the pattern will appear clearly scratched. You can get the “Turbo Peek” in StatTrak as well.

AWP

here are a lot of really nice and colourful AWP Skins. For this Loadout the “Chromatic Aberration” fits, with its neon and flashy pink. It's also a money-saving Skin, you can get a Factory New one for 27€ on Steam (Battle-scarred 7€, StatTrak available). You can find some good-looking ones in Field tested. If you get a Well-Worn or Battle-scarred you need to deal with a darker-looking colour, scratches and no pattern on the scope at all.

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed our little journey through time and that you got some new inspiration and ideas for colourful, flashy combinations.

To summarise, it can be said that most combinations can also be used with a low to medium budget. Good-looking skins don't always have to be expensive.

If you want even more colour or want to personalise your combos, feel free to experiment with stickers. Some holo stickers are particularly suitable.
