Counter-Strike 2’s new Dog Tag charms for Souvenir Skins

Souvenir packages have gotten a new upgrade with the latest Counter-Strike 2 update.

Now, “dog tags”, which are weapon charms, are attached to your souvenir gun. This update seems to be only for the playoff stage matches, and not for the whole tournament,
but it is quite an interesting change. What do these charms bring? What is different?
In this article, we will explain all of this in detail.

But let us look at what the developers say about this update themselves:
”Available exclusively for playoff stage matches, Souvenir Highlight Packages contain a souvenir weapon with an attached charm that features a video highlight from the playoff map you selected. Your weapon's description will include information about the highlight, and you can view the attached clip in your CS2 inventory, in Steam, or while spectating a teammate in-match.”

This means that you now get a video highlight from the game that the souvenir package is from!
So far, it is unclear whether it is based on the team that won the round, the player, or if it is simply the “best play” of this particular game.

What we know is that it is from the specific match and between the two teams that you chose.

“Dog tags” are used to identify soldiers, but now they are used to identify great plays and see the highlights of the map! 💪
This dog tag even has a little USB drive, so it can “play” the highlights on computers, genius!
