Monthly Platform Update - May 2025
We’re slowly but steadily improving GamerPay - and I want to give a quick update on what we’ve been working on lately: what’s already live, and what’s just around the corner.
First I need to highlight that it’s been amazing to connect with so many of our users recently. Hearing your honest feedback and knowing how much potential you believe we have means the world. I genuinely love building alongside our users and of course the team.
But let’s jump straight into the interesting stuff :)
New cool things on GamerPay
New selling fee model
To support bigger traders, we’ve launched a new tiered selling fee system:
1% selling fee for items of €3.000+
0.5% selling fee for items of €5.000+
Note that its not only on a specific item. The fee also kicks in if the full trade exceeds for example €3.000.
So if you sell 3 x 1k items you still then only pay 1% in selling fee!
Faster crypto deposit flow
You can now deposit crypto and instantly get funds in your wallet. We’ve already seen a big spike in happy crypto users, and we’re looking forward to improving this even more during 2025.
Updated images for Agents and Charms
It’s now way nicer to scroll through and discover these items in the feed.
Single image focus on item pages
We’ve made it easier to see the play side of skins with a cleaner, focused image layout.
Improved item detail UI
The page now looks better (that’s at least the main feedback we’ve gotten), and the page is ready for the features we’ll be adding in the months to come.
Fix for trade lock delay
We resolved a frustrating bug that caused users to wait 3–4 hours after a trade lock expired. This is now fixed.
ChatGPT access to GamerPay
We’ve given GPT access to read public data and info on GamerPay.
I’m really excited about where AI will take the CS2 space over the next couple of years.
Checkout updates
We fixed missing totals and made improvements to the checkout speed.
Sunsetting light mode
About 10% of users used it. Going forward, we’re focusing fully on dark mode. It helps us move faster in both design and dev.
I would love to hear from people how they like our dark mode, and if some things should be changed in this regard.
Thanks for understanding.
Coming Soon
Pricing page
We’re building a clearer overview so all users can easily see how low our fees are. We’re close to being the most affordable/cheapest CS2 marketplace worldwide, and I believe this should be more clear to both our users and the world.
Liquidity score
Casuals and traders alike want to know how easy or hard it is to sell specific items. This feature will make it easier to judge that.
Info page about GamerPay
We want to make it easier - especially for casual users - to understand how GamerPay works and what they can do with it.
Backend and database improvements
We’ve made big progress over the past few months, but we’re still optimizing to make GamerPay even more reliable.
Bigger Projects
Following things are topics we are currently investigating and scoping out.
Automating trades and disputes
This is the big one. We want to simplify and speed up the experience for everyone.
I hope to share more details soon.
Selling via the mobile app
We’re scoping and estimating how to build out the final key piece of the mobile experience: selling.
This is going to be exciting to roll out!
Thanks for reading - and for trusting us.
Let’s keep building.
