Monthly Platform Update - June 2025
June was a fantastic month, where we witnessed some incredible Counter-Strike moments – especially with the latest Major wrapping up in Austin.
But for us at GamerPay, there’s something even more personal to celebrate: we’ve officially turned 4 years old!
Back in May 2021, we launched the very first version of our marketplace – a simple escrow-based payment solution. Since then, it’s been an amazing journey transforming GamerPay into the fully-fledged marketplace it is today. We’ve learned a lot, tested many ideas, and stayed close to the community we serve. With CS more popular than ever, our small but dedicated team is more motivated than ever to keep building for the future.
Here’s some highlights of what we’ve been working on in June:
Improved Search Suggestions
One of our top priorities recently has been making it easier for you to find the skins you want. We’re excited to have rolled out smarter, faster search suggestions – so now, you can simply type a few letters of a skin name and quickly find matching items. It’s a big step in making GamerPay smoother and more intuitive to use.
Biggest Trades in GamerPay History
June marked a major milestone: we saw the largest trades ever completed on the platform! Some deals reached as high as €29,000, with several others ranging from €5,000–€11,000. We’re incredibly proud to be able to support such high-value transactions – and even more proud that users trust us with them.
Introducing Liquidity Scores
To help sellers better understand market conditions, we’ve added a Liquidity Score to each item. This score shows how easily an item is likely to sell – the higher the percentage, the faster it typically moves. Big thanks to Pricempire for powering this insight!
New Skin Inspect Tool
We’ve also been working on a small but powerful new feature: the Skin Inspect Tool.
It lets anyone get quick, detailed info about a specific skin – complete with a high-quality screenshot. Check it out at gamerpay.gg/inspect
Platform Stability Improvements
As part of our ongoing mission to bring GamerPay back to its former glory, we’ve been investing time into strengthening our backend and database infrastructure. These improvements help safeguard both users and the platform against downtime, performance bottlenecks, and server issues – ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for everyone.
We’re keeping our heads down and working hard to bring even more value to buyers and sellers across the CS2 community.
