GamerPay.gg is a leading real-money marketplace for in-game assets, currently operating as a marketplace for Counter-Strike 2 skins. GamerPay is in an exciting growth period and has plans to expand the marketplace to unlock secure, real-world value trading for other games and gamers. Our social media presence spans TikTok, Instagram, X & Discord and we are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our strategy, produce content, and help manage our community.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Social Media Manager who will take ownership of and grow GamerPay’s social media channels. You will be responsible for planning, creating, posting, community engagement and performance measurement. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to ensure that our content is consistent, authentic and aligned with gamer culture and the Counter-Strike community. This role is remote and the successful candidate would ideally work from a location that is +/- 2 hours to GMT timezone.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Set clear goals for each channel (e.g. follower growth, engagement, conversions).
Produce & maintain a social media content calendar.
Stay on top of social media trends, platform algorithm updates and emerging best practices.
Content Creation
Create, curate, and publish high-quality content: short-form video (TikToks), reels, feed posts, stories, and web content,
Write engaging captions, hooks, and copy that match GamerPay’s brand voice and resonate with the Counter-Strike community.
Edit and repurpose content efficiently.
Community Management
Monitor comments, DMs, mentions on Instagram, TikTok & X; engage with the community in a timely, authentic way.
Build relationships with gamers & influencers relevant to GamerPay.
Run interactive campaigns: user-generated content, contests, challenges, giveaways etc. to boost engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
Track, analyse and report on social media performance: reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions etc.
Use analytics insights to iterate on strategy and content for continuous improvement.
Benchmark against competitors and identify opportunities to stand out.
Profile:
Ideally you can check off most of the following:
Has proven experience in managing social media for brands.
Excellent content creation skills: video, graphics and copywriting.
A good understanding of social media metrics, analytics tools and how to use data to make decisions.
Video-editing skills and the ability to efficiently produce short-form videos.
A player of Counter-Strike, or a strong understanding of the game and its community.
Creative thinker with knowledge of what resonates in gaming, in particular players of Counter-Strike.
Fluent in English.
