GamerPay Wingman Map

Introducing:

We over at GamerPay have some really big news!
We finally have our own wingman map!
The talented AAspect has created de_gamerpay!

Learn more about the map, what it looks like, and maybe even play it for yourself!
It is a wingman map so the best would be to gather a few friends and play some intern games among each other!

The map:

de_gamerpay” is a bit bigger than your average wingman maps.

According to the creator AAspect: “It was made with the intention to shake the hold shift meta away, by making it a little bigger.”

Fight through apartments and modern buildings, as well as check out the structures and the up-to-date building techniques together with the futuristic fountains and the cool open areas!

This map has a little bit of everything for every player and every playstyle!

The T spawn is at the top and the CT spawn is at the bottom.

Astonishing mega buildings, a skyscraper with the GamerPay logo, and artworks scattered around the map with many references to your favorite marketplace GamerPay!

Walk through good-looking modern buildings, high class apartments, and even part of the GamerPay office!

Near the bombsite, you can also see the modern building of our Swedish friends Ninjas in Pyjamas!
Fight in the complex of the two corporations and either defend the bombsite or plant the C4!
The outcome is in your hands.

If you are a frequent viewer of our streams, this room might seem a bit familiar to you!

It is modeled after our streaming room. You can easily spot our logo and even the weapons are reminiscent of the skins we have displayed in our streaming room as well.

We really love this addition near the CT spawn.

Here is our streaming room from last December during our “December Bingo” with Martin and Morten!

If you are playing as a CT, you can go left from your spawn to the GamerPay office streaming room to get to the outside. You can also go right and cut the middle in half. Just be aware that there is a vent that Terrorists can use near the right entry for the CTs!

Here you can see the bomb site, a thing no good CS:GO map should lack (yes, we are aware of the “Hostage game mode”).
As a T you can walk over the nicely modeled bridge or through the Nip tower if you go left of your spawn. There is also a little vent if the T’s go left.

We also asked AAspect a few questions regarding this map and mapping in general:

  • Q: Is this your first map?

  • A: No, my first map is named de_teichos

  • Q: How long did the mapping process take you?

  • A: Around 100-200 hours between 4-8 weeks

  • Q: What was your favorite part to do/ what was your least favorite?

  • A: My favorite part is adding details, pros, and textures, and what I hate least is probably designing the layout, to begin with. But most of the time it actually turns out great at the end after enough time with testing timings and playtests.

Conclusion:

We would be happy if you download the map and check it out for yourself!
All feedback is very appreciated!

We are looking forward to playing this map on our streams!

Be sure to download the map: de_gamerpay and give us your feedback.
And again a huge thank you to AAspect for making all of this possible!
